XC3 Employer's Interface The heart of the employer's interface is the search form; a series of filters which may be applied to the database. When just the titles are visible the filters are turned off and if the search button was pressed the whole database would be shown in the results.
To search by a specific area the relevant filter is opened, as shown below. Here we are interested in language skills. The language skill levels are numbered from 1 to 3 and these levels are described by clicking on the blue info symbol (on the live page, not here). The search is done by selecting a level which is like saying "show people of at least level X".
The simple results form is shown below. This uses the candidates' text entry fields to give an overview which can be quickly scanned. The document icon at the top of each candidate's result enables his CV to be opened, while the envelope indicates that the employer has already written an email to this candidate. The candidate can be selected using the tickbox and emailed directly, or clicking on the user number will show the user's full profile. The results are ordered 10 to a page.
The detailed search results page shows every field in the database and may be used for ordering results by database fields. It will not be discussed further here. |
