Driver Trainer East Africa - November 2008

Locations: Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda

Driver trainer required for short term consultancy project of upto 12 weeks duration.

Role: to provide defensive driver training to upto 200 drivers currently employed in East Africa. To follow a syllabus starting with the system of vehicle control and hazard perception through to basic elements of security awareness and improved observation with actions-on.


Pay Rates: Package negotiable - will include accommodation and vehicle.

Oil & Gas Exploration Liaison Personnel - East Africa and Horn of Africa

Rank Range: SNCO - Capt

Role: To provide the link between national security forces and exploration company personnel on remote sites across the Horn of Africa and East Africa.

Requirements: Candidates must have previous oil and gas industry experience. Must be holders of valid FPOS medical responder qualification. Should be experienced off-road driver. Must be physically fit and mentally robust, self motivated and calm under pressure.

Experience: Must be experienced Africa hand. Must possess tact and diplomacy in dealing with local security forces. Oil and Gas industry knowledge is essential.

Rates of Pay: USD 500 - USD 650 per day.
