About XC3.

XC3 Engineering is a Staffordshire-based performance engineering company developing components for fast-road, track-day and motorsport cars.

We create parts for drivers who want to improve how their cars brake, handle and perform, while also improving reliability and usability where it matters. Our range includes braking systems, suspension components, seat mounting hardware, safety equipment and other track-focused upgrades.

Every XC3 product starts with a reason. It might be to improve performance, solve a fitment problem, increase reliability or simply create a better solution than the original part.

How XC3 Began

XC3 started from a genuine interest in performance cars, engineering and developing better parts.

We kept coming across applications where the available solutions were either too generic, poorly supported or simply not designed with enough attention to fitment, material choice and how the part would actually be used.

That became the starting point for XC3.

Rather than simply buying and reselling existing parts, we wanted to take more control over the products we offered. That means developing our own components, defining the materials and manufacturing requirements, and staying involved throughout the development and production process.

Our Engineering Process

Every product starts with a problem or requirement that we want to solve.

That might mean increasing braking capacity, creating more clearance around another component, correcting suspension geometry, reducing unwanted movement or making track-focused equipment easier to install.

From there, the component is developed in CAD before prototypes are produced and evaluated. We look closely at dimensions, mounting positions, clearances, fastener specification and how the part interacts with the rest of the vehicle.

Prototypes are then checked, fitted to the vehicle and, where appropriate, used on the road or track. Any changes are made before the design moves into production.

We do not want to develop parts simply for the sake of adding another product to the catalogue. An XC3 component should have a clear purpose and provide a genuine benefit.

Designed in Staffordshire

XC3-branded products are designed and developed from our base in Staffordshire, UK.

Manufacturing is carried out by specialist engineering companies selected for the process and component involved. Depending on the part, this can include CNC machining, precision turning, laser cutting, fabrication, anodising and powder coating.

We work closely with our manufacturing partners throughout the process, giving us control over drawings, tolerances, materials, finishes and design revisions.

This approach means we can work with companies that specialise in each manufacturing process rather than trying to bring every operation under one roof.

We see the companies we work with as engineering partners, not anonymous suppliers.

Functional Design

We believe a good performance component should do its job without unnecessary weight, complexity or features that serve no real purpose.

That means looking at the complete assembly rather than just the individual part. Mounting geometry, load paths, material thickness, fastener engagement, clearances and service access are all considered during development.

Where material is not needed, we try to remove it. Where strength or rigidity is required, we make sure it is there.

The aim is simple: create a component that performs its job properly and is designed around the application it is going into.

More Than Braking

Braking is a major part of XC3, but it is only one area of the car.

We also develop suspension and alignment components, rotor bells, caliper carriers, seat mounting systems, heat-management products and other track-focused hardware.

The products may be different, but the thinking behind them is the same. Each one should improve performance, consistency, durability or the way the car can be used.

Direct Technical Support

Being involved in the design and specification of our products also means we can support customers properly before and after they buy.

We regularly help with questions around fitment, wheel clearance, brake configurations, replacement consumables and compatibility with other modifications.

Not every car is used in the same way, so we would rather understand the vehicle and what the customer is trying to achieve than simply rely on a generic application list.

Our Standards

Many of the parts we develop are used in braking, suspension and safety-related areas of the car, so accuracy and reliability matter.

We specify materials appropriate to the application, work with controlled manufacturing processes and check critical features before components are dispatched.

XC3-manufactured products are also backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Ultimately, the XC3 name is only as good as the parts carrying it, and that is something we take seriously.

Our Ambition

We want XC3 to become one of the most respected performance engineering brands in the industry.

For us, that means building a name around fast cars, intelligent design, British engineering and products that work properly.

We will continue to improve our development and validation process, strengthen our manufacturing partnerships and expand into more applications and more areas of the performance car.

The aim is not to build the biggest parts catalogue.

It is to become the company enthusiasts think of when they need a properly engineered solution.
