Product Description
The BMW M2, M3 and M4 F8X platform is highly capable, but repeated hard braking on road or track can quickly expose the limits of the factory front brake setup. Higher speeds, turbocharged performance, high-grip tyres and longer sessions create more heat, more pad demand and less braking consistency.
The XC3 BTCC Big Brake Kit solves this by combining motorsport-derived 368mm x 36mm floating rotors with AP Racing CP9660 six-piston calipers. Customers can choose between Anodised Grey calipers for a motorsport-style finish or Nickel Plated calipers for a premium, corrosion-resistant appearance.
The larger rotor size improves heat capacity, while the floating bobbin assembly allows controlled rotor expansion under temperature. Optional anti-rattle clips are available for customers who want to reduce floating rotor hardware noise while retaining the benefits of a floating disc assembly.
XC3-designed bells and caliper brackets ensure correct fitment, rotor positioning, caliper alignment and pad sweep on the F8X chassis. The supplied rotors and pads are inspected ex-BTCC components, allowing customers to access high-level motorsport hardware at a more cost-effective price point than a fully new equivalent setup. Some cosmetic marks and signs of previous motorsport use should be expected.
