XC3 Adjustable Rear Traction Arms for the BMW M2, M3 and M4 G8X platform replace the factory rear traction links with a precision adjustable, spherical-jointed solution designed to improve rear suspension control under acceleration, braking and cornering.
CNC machined from 6082-T6 aluminium and fitted with premium RODOBAL RML18MTE Motorsport M18 rod ends, the XC3 traction arms reduce compliance in the factory linkage and provide a more direct, controlled connection within the rear suspension.
Ideal for fast road, track day and motorsport builds where improved rear axle response, traction and consistent suspension geometry are required.

Product Description
The rear traction arm plays an important role in controlling rear wheel movement under acceleration, braking and suspension load. The factory BMW link is designed with a degree of compliance for road comfort, which can allow unwanted movement when the car is driven harder.
The XC3 Adjustable Rear Traction Arms replace this compliant link with a rigid aluminium arm and spherical motorsport joint, giving more direct control of the rear suspension. This helps improve rear axle response, stability and consistency when applying power, particularly on lowered, high-grip and track-focused G8X cars.
The adjustable design also allows the suspension setup to be accurately configured to suit modified applications.
RODOBAL Motorsport Rod Ends
A critical part of any spherical-jointed suspension arm is the quality of the rod end itself.
XC3 uses RODOBAL RML18MTE Motorsport rod ends rather than an unidentified generic joint. These are genuine Motorsport-series joints with forged and heat-treated high-strength bodies, hardened spherical inner rings, reinforced PTFE liners and controlled preload.
The preloaded spherical joint provides very low clearance, helping minimise unwanted movement within the suspension connection while maintaining smooth articulation and maintenance-free operation.
Rod ends can appear almost identical externally while differing significantly in materials, machining accuracy, preload and liner quality. Using a known Motorsport-series joint gives XC3 a consistent engineering specification rather than relying on hardware of unknown construction or performance.
