Product Description
The BMW E9X M3 is one of BMW’s most capable driver-focused platforms, but repeated hard braking on road or track can quickly expose the limits of the factory front brake setup. Higher speeds, high-grip tyres and longer sessions create more heat, more pad demand and less braking consistency.
The XC3 BTCC Big Brake Kit solves this by combining motorsport-derived 368mm x 36mm floating rotors with AP Racing CP9660 six-piston calipers, available in Anodised Grey or Nickel Plated finish. The larger rotor size improves heat capacity, while the floating bobbin assembly allows controlled rotor expansion under temperature. Optional anti-rattle clips are also available for customers who want to reduce floating rotor hardware noise while retaining the benefits of a floating disc assembly.
XC3-designed bells and caliper brackets ensure correct fitment, rotor positioning, caliper alignment and pad sweep on the E9X M3 chassis. The supplied rotors and pads are inspected ex-BTCC components, giving customers access to high-level motorsport hardware at a more cost-effective price point than a fully new equivalent setup. Some cosmetic marks and signs of previous motorsport use should be expected.
