Ferodo DS3000 brake pads for AP Racing CP9660 calipers are a heavy-duty race compound designed for high-friction braking performance in track and motorsport use. Designed for the CP9660 / CP3905 pad profile, these pads use an 18mm thickness and 54mm pad depth, making them suitable for AP Racing Pro5000R CP9660 six-piston calipers.
DS3000 is aimed at drivers who want stronger bite and higher braking torque than DS2500. Ferodo lists the compound with an average friction coefficient of 0.48 across a working temperature range of 200°C–650°C, making it well suited to repeated heavy braking, sprint racing, track cars, hill climbs, rally and touring car applications.
Compared with DS2500, DS3000 is more aggressive and more track-focused, with a higher average friction level and a higher operating temperature range. It is a good choice where maximum braking performance is more important than road refinement.
